Sunrise on Falie Seaview Eco Accommodation Accessible Accommodation is located on beautiful Kangaroo Island. Offering two accessible two-bedroom apartments plus one non-accessible apartment. The property is pet-friendly too! Every apartment has a queen bed in bedroom 1, plus another queen bed in bedroom two and an additional moveable single bed in the second bedroom.
Apartment 3 (Penthouse) is designed and built to be accessible, with access via a bridge from the carpark designed for wheelchairs.
Apartment 2 (Deluxe) is also designed and built to be accessible, with the entry and exit via proper ramps designed for wheelchairs.
Apartment 1 (Horizon) is not accessible as it has a shower in a bath.
Site access is by ramps easily used by guests with motor or non-motorised wheelchairs. The accessible accommodation was designed by an architect to easily accommodate guests with mobility issues and easily accommodate large electric wheelchairs and lifting equipment, especially in the bathrooms.
The modern architect-designed and self-contained accommodation sits in a pristine environment with good Sea and Valley views on the edge of a tiny township on Kangaroo Island. One apartment is setup as self-contained accessible accommodation for guests requiring the use of wheelchair equipment, lifters and easy no step access.
Their location on Kangaroo Island is central to use as a base to tour all of the Island. Close by they have the natural bushland plus ocean walkways. In the township, there is the local wharf area and local eateries.
From the property, guests are entertained by the native birds and animals (Parrots, small birds, Echidnas, Wallabies, Kangaroos, Koalas. They have maintained the bush setting to attract and provide homes for their wildlife.

Bringing Pets to stay with us.
We are pet friendly for the small very well managed dogs and require details in advance to determine if they are suitable. We call them affectionately the lounge dwellers. We built these apartments to be pet friendly and do our best to help caring pet owners bring their small dogs with them. It can be a lot of work to clean after pets leave and we have a strict cleaning process with or without pets but we double up in specific areas like pet hair, bugs, smells etc and other pet related issues so the next guest can be confident they have a clean pet free environment to relax and enjoy. We do not have a pet run outside as our location has a range of wildlife that can harm and hurt dogs. We require owners to keep their pet on a leed when outside as much for their safety as for the freedom and safety of the wildlife.
CATS: Bringing cats to Kangaroo island is discouraged due to the danger to wildlife and the risk of these cats getting free and moving into the wild. This is not our decision but one in place by local Council and environment authorities. Refer to the local Council re Dog/ Cat/ Rabbit/ Fox and some other envrionmental matters. There can be heavy fines for bringing certain animals and foods to the Island under the protection of agriculture and native wildlife issues.

There are short term carers on the Island for small dogs which you will need as no pets are allowed into the National Parks. We try and discourage pets being left unattended in our accommodation as its both not fair for the pet but also risks potential damage to the apartment and may disturb other guests.
