Countrywide Cottages Accessible Otways accessible accommodation Countrywide Cottages Igloo cottage is a purpose-built cottage for people of various mobility levels, specifically for independent wheelchair accessibility. A stylish and practical destination for accessible accommodation. It offers a bushland setting with wheelchair-accessible accommodation. Just a 30-minute drive to Lorne and only 90 minutes from Melbournes Westgate Bridge, you will find a welcome change of pace here. The newly refurbished property is largely bushland, offering bushwalks from your cottage door out into the Otway Forest Park. Wild birds will wow you with their calls and gorgeous colours. Each cottage has a very large, securely fenced yard out front so your dog/s can run free.

Activities In And Around Countrywide Cottages Otways Accessible Accommodation:
Their bushwalks are approx 5 feet wide, steeper at one end of the property but suitable for strong arms or motorised chairs. Access to your private yard is via the ramp exit from the cottage and down a slight decline. They have a communal recreation area that offers a BBQ and pool table. Unfortunately, the toilet in that area is yet to be converted to an accessible one. It's in the very short plans - promise. There is a large dam on site in which guests are welcome to try their hands in yabbying or to take their dogs for more off-leash fun and swims. Access to the dam is via a sloping driveway. However, you are able to park nearby and wheel straight into this area.

Standard industry cancellation fees apply to all bookings:
50% deposit payable at time of booking 21-60 days prior to booking date - 50% of deposit forfeited
Up to 21 days prior to booking date - 100% of deposit forfeited
After arrival - 100% of total price forfeited
During peak season the full balance is to be paid 21 days prior to arrival and is non refundable
Code Red fire warning – if a Code Red fire danger rating is declared for or during the time of your stay management reserves the right to cancel all or part of your booking for your own safety. Monies paid will be held for a future booking to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the guest and management.
